Powerplay

Our final stop for the day took us back into Missouri for Powerplay, yet another FEC, this time one that had only been open for 18 months or so and not many had ridden the coaster. A python's pit model that used to belong to another FEC chain, Jeepers.

It was quite late so we headed straight to the coaster located at the back of the centre. The park have done a really good job with the theming, something that most places wouldn't do with their little rides. This one had a decent light job and a themed room at the final turn.

We were pleasantly surprised with this ride and the staff were really cool with us riding this. Why couldn't SkateDaze be like this! We'd encountered polar opposites today.

I'm not sure if this is the chain mascot or not but it's quite cool.

Elsewhere the place had a simple selection of rides

and a good array of arcade games. This Kung Fu Panda punching game was our favourite. More so when Thomas commented it looked like Tal.

and that was day 9 and the coaster of the day had to be the Monster.

  1. So the Zyklon ended up being better than Monster?
