Park City

Day 18 had us sticking around the Salt Lake City area with us visiting a couple of Alpine Coasters back in the rockies before finishing up at Lagoon, a large family run park in the city.

Our first stop took us past the Winter Olympic site to the Park City resort, which similar to Breckenridge is a Winter park with some Summer attractions. For us there was the alpine coaster.

I'd been here before but remember enjoying the alpine coaster so was definitely up for riding it again. Christof, who had also been here in 2010 sat this one out whilst the three of us rode.

and it's another good one, a nice and long ascent up through the trees leading to a lengthy run back down, and at 16 bucks it was a little cheaper

Again, this was a quick hit so having done the alpine we made our way out to get to the next park. I quite liked the metal work on their crazy golf attraction.

This is a nice quick stop and although we didn't do it on our trip having done it before, there is a cool bobsled ride at the Olympic village that's highly recommended. Also if you're visiting Salt Lake this area is a nice half-day trip.
